Classification (by wavelength effect):

• Shortwave Pass: High transmission for wavelengths below cut-off, high reflection for above.

• Longwave Pass: High transmission for wavelengths above cut-off, high reflection for below.

• Multi-band: With three or more transmission/reflection bands.
